The Licensing Process

We would like to make this process as easy as possible for you. Here is a brief overview of the process.

First, you can choose between two types of liscensing options:

Starter License Addendum

– For runs of 50 units or fewer.
– Minimum Guarantee: AUD $100
– Royalty rate: 15%.
– Shorter approval timelines may be offered for event-based items.

Standard License Addendum

– For runs of over 50 units.
– Minimum Guarantee: AUD $1000
– Royalty rate: 10%.
– Priority review of designs.

Large-Scale License Addendum

– For runs of over 1000 units.
– Minimum Guarantee: TBD
– Royalty rate: TBD
– Immediate review of designs

Step 1: Inquiry — Artist/Business reaches out expressing interest.


Step 2: Application — Applicant completes Google Form or email form.


Step 3: Review — Stacey McEwan reviews application and responds within 14 business days.


Step 4: Agreement — If approved, the licensing agreement is signed and minimum guarantee is paid.


Step 5: Design Submission — Licensee submits all designs for approval.


Step 6: Approval — Stacey provides written approval or requests revisions within 14 days.


Step 7: Production — Licensee produces merchandise in line with approved designs.


Step 8: Reporting — Licensee submits sales reports and royalty payments twice yearly.


Step 9: Renewal or Termination — At the end of the term, license may be renewed or allowed to expire.
